May we introduce Coco: a real all-round talent to beautify your home. She glitters discreetly at you when you walk past her. Or puts you in a good mood when you sit at the table with her.

THE fashion trend of 2022 is now coming into your home: dyed feathers! Maybe because we want more lightness again? Maybe because we like color? Beautifully crafted into the marabou feather throne from Drosselbart-Design.

Coordinated in tone, Coco glitters in competition with the feather-light marabou feathers. In addition, the wonderful egg has a secure stand and thus combines design and functionality.

Fun fact about rheas

The rhea is a large ratite and is originally native to South America. Actually, since the year 2000 there has been a steadily growing flock of rheas living in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Schleswig-Holstein. At that time, a small group of the large birds broke out of an enclosure near Lübeck. Contrary to all expectations, the birds survived the first winter and were even able to expand their group. There are now several hundred animals living between Lake Ratzeburger and Lake Schaal. Our “egg suppliers” from Mühltal (Hesse) are shown in the picture below.

about Thrush Beard Design

The wreaths from Drosselbart-Design stand for sustainable consumption and the careful treatment of our environment. Sustainability is a complex term that describes sustained, renewable use of resources. This leaves a lot of room for different interpretations and ideas about this term, says Debora Mazzia Floßdorf, the founder. In your factory, exclusive, long-lasting designer pieces are created from existing natural resources. She makes wreaths from materials such as recycled real fur, imitation fur, feathers, faux leather or leather. Of course, each wreath is a unique piece that can be decorated all year round and is simply the perfect base for your unique egg.

You get these wreath sizes with our egg varieties:

Goose eggs: Longhair faux fur throne: diameter 9-12 cm / height approx. 7 cm

Nandu eggs: marabou feather throne: diameter 8-9 cm / height approx. 6 cm

Ostrich eggs: marabou feather wreath "M" 16cm, height approx. 5cm (depending on material)
